Pre-construction termite treatment creates a protective barrier before the slab is poured, giving your new build long-term protection from the ground up. Most home insurance policies do not cover termite damage unless you have specific coverage in place, which makes prevention the smartest investment you can make. Our pre-construction treatment involves applying a chemical barrier to excavation sides and bottoms, treating the area beneath the slab, protecting floor-wall junctions, creating a perimeter barrier around the foundation, treating pipe bedding and service penetrations, and applying specialised chemicals to all wooden structural elements. This treatment is designed to comply with Australian Standard AS 3660.1 and provides up to 5 years of continuous protection. We work directly with builders, owner-builders, and developers across Melbourne to ensure termite protection is in place before construction begins. For existing homes without pre-construction treatment, we also offer post-construction chemical barriers and baiting systems.
